Unity Animation Blender Hologram

JOYTECH is a collection of 3D models and animations commisioned by artist Umber Majeed for her project of the same name. It is displayed in the Queens Museum, an art center at the historic site of 1964 World's Fair, and will remain installed until January of 2026.

After a breif initial meeting with Majeed, James was chosen to join her team in a more formal capacity, designing all 3D assets for the project as well as visiting the site for assistance in physical installation.

The project also included a collaboration with Looking Glass, a company which specializes in holographic digital displays. The assets made thusfar were collaged together into a holographic "fish tank" where guests in the gallery could view the many pieces of this elaborate work floating in 3D
